Chill atmosphere with huge portion of delicious and a wide variety of food. Great customer service with friendly staff. Halal-certified, great place to hang out with friends or date, no alcohol but they have coffee and milkshakes. Decent selection of savoury and sweet dessert. Expect to spend $20-30 per pax.

I tried Cafe By The Pool located next to Woodlands Stadium for dinner tonight with a group of friends, and we're all quite satisfied with our meal here! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were friendly. 5 of us ordered different main dishes to try, and you can see the variety of food they offer:
Tom Yum Chicken Pasta - $15.50
An asian twist given to pasta. The tom yum broth gave the linguine an extra kick which I didn't expect to work so well! Some of us including myself can't really take spicy food, but we agreed it was more sweet & sour than spicy. Overall it was a unique and delicious combination - would recommend!
Da Burger Bomb - $15.50
The teriyaki chicken was probably the bomb of this burger - to be honest, nothing particularly extraordinary about this burger, but still, you can't go wrong with this option. I'd eat it anyway!
Satay Burger - $16.50
Now THIS I would recommend - not sure if it's because I'm a fan of nutty satay sauce, but it was really scrumptious eating it with the chicken patty, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce and toasted buns.
Fried Chicken & Waffle - $16.90
I've seen this combination a couple of times before but never tried it, thinking it may be too dry - but again, I was surprised by how well it matched with one another! The waffles were soft and fluffy, instead of the crispy and crunchy kind - but that's fine as the fried chicken have already taken care of the crispy texture part. And with both the fried chicken and waffle taking on the savoury roles, you can drizzle maple syrup on it to introduce some sweetness to the dish - it was an explosion of all kinds of flavour and texture.
Baked Salmon - $19.90
Again, nothing particularly extraordinary about this dish - it wasn't bad, but it wasn't terrifically great either. But I'd say the salmon is baked well and flavourful enough! My friend noted that the sauteed mushrooms at a side were really tasty, though.
Passionfruit Sparkling Americano - $9.00
Strawberry Iced Latte - $9.00
They serve these specialty coffees by separating the espresso shot from the other ingredients. Sadly, I don't like mixing espresso with other flavors (except milk, of course), so these combinations are not appealing to me. I prefer drinking the passionfruit drink on its own, though.
Mango Frappe - $8.90
Mixed Berries Frappe - $8.90
Salted Caramel Mini Milkshake - $9.90
We also tried their frappes and milkshakes; my favorite was the Mango Frappe. The portions are overly large, in my opinion, especially with the generous scoop of ice cream on top. It's not easy to consume without making a mess. Perhaps next time, I could try asking them to serve the ice cream in a separate cup instead?
Assorted Cake with Ice-Cream - $10.90
The available cake flavours may vary, but that day we ordered a slice of Royal Blackforest Layer Cake and a slice of Mango Passion Layer Cake. Again, it comes with a humongous scoop of ice cream of your choice.
There was a Valentine's Day promotion of 50% off all sliced cakes that time. If you're in the area and haven't tried this place before, I'd definitely suggest giving it a chance!
